7TH PROJECT:
SHINWOO'S 23RD BIRTHDAY
"616 EYEGLASSES LOVE CHARITY"
*ACCOMPLISHED*
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We’re collecting used eyeglasses until the end of April from overseas other than Japan, so we could have time to collaborate donated ones before CNU’s birthday.
We’re planning to donate to “An-Ah-Ju-Se-Yo” (http://www.hugforvision.org) in the name of “B1A4 CNU”, who has the best and perfect eyeglasses look in the Universe. :D And we’re also going to give the certificate of donation of 616 eyeglasses to CNU himself, with a list of donators’ names.

WHAT TO DO??
DONATE YOUR OUT-OF-PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASSES
Don't discard old, unbroken, out of date prescription glasses sitting in a drawer. Donate them instead. Donating your old eyeglasses can save someone in a developing nation from unemployment. With the cost of glasses equaling a year’s salary in some countries, donated eyeglasses are the only feasible way to bring sight to many visually impaired. These recycled eyeglasses can be the difference between a blacksmith continuing his work or closing up shop, or the factor that enables a woman to support herself by doing embroidery rather than becoming destitute.
Donated glasses are cleaned, the prescriptions verified and the glasses distributed to people in developing countries or areas where people can't afford glasses. Volunteer eyecare teams take the library of donated glasses to developing countries and distribute them. Eyecare teams provide vision testing, refraction and eye health examination for free. People who need vision correction are given a pair of glasses, at no charge, that match or come very close their prescription
